RAdical market innovations (RAMI)

RAMI (RAdical market innovations) project is part of the more extensive Forestcluster program "Forward customer solutions" (Focus).

Objectives

The objective of the eighteen month long project is to identify new growth opportunities for the forest cluster outside the current core business.

Focus areas

The current and possible markets of the forest cluster are examined through an industry independent approach and from four different perspectives:

  1. firm capabilities

  2. consumer practices

  3. customer processes

  4. value networks 

Top academics have been assigned to cover four research perspectives with the following six academic research projects:

  1. Capabilities as source for cluster's competitive edge. Head of Research: Juha-Antti Lamberg, Helsinki University of Technology

  2. Paper in Practice. Head of Research: Mika Pantzar, Helsinki School of Economics

  3. Media practices. Head of Research: Göte Nyman, Helsinki University

  4. Base of Pyramid Practices. Head of Research: Minna Halme, Helsinki School of Economics

  5. Forest cluster's new growth opportunities - value network analysis. Head of Research: Kristian Möller, Helsinki School of Economics

  6. B2B customers' processes and their cost structures as a source of offering innovation. Head of Research: Johnny Lind, Stockholm School of Economics
